Gabriel Mauri, known by his stage name Giammo, discovers music from a very young age. At 4 years old, he begins piano at the Polyson school in Carcassonne in classical training. Around the age of 10, he completes his musical journey with jazz training at the JL Mels school. These two worlds very early on fuel his desire to compose, making the piano his first true tool of creation.
As a teenager, he turns to electronic music, influenced by David Guetta and Daft Punk. At 20 years old, he stops taking piano lessons and discovers DJing, performing at small events (parties, weddings, birthdays). From the very beginning, he incorporates piano into his sets, which quickly becomes a true artistic signature and a central element of his live performances.
After high school, he pursues studies in sound engineering, a period during which he refines his musical identity and gradually builds his artistic universe.
The Giammo project is officially born in 2025, at the age of 22. Shortly afterwards, he performs at the Delta Festival in Marseille following his victory in the "tremplin" competition. He then wins the remix contest organized by the French DJ Feder, resulting in an official release in 2026 in collaboration with him, which has already accumulated more than 100,000 streams to date.
He then goes on to play at major events, notably the Odizia Festival in Aix-en-Provence, as well as making his debut at the iconic Bikini venue in Toulouse. After several dates across France (Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Corsica, and many others), Giammo now aims to develop his project internationally.
